I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank PRECISION WEATHER DURING your work regarding "Floyd". While Environment Canada was getting everyone worked into a lather about how bad it was going to he here, your staff kept it conservative, assuring our listeners that while we would get some strong winds and some rain, we didn't have a whole lot to worry about.

Kudos to both weather offices, but particulary to Russ Murley in Portland, during those crucial morning hours last Friday as the disturbance was moving into Atlantic Canada, During our live hit with him at 7:20 a,m., he even began downgrading his earlier fortcast, We also did another live hit with him after the 9 a.m. newscast.
